Hey fellow scion Peeps. i need information about installing the set up. on the front strut base has a treaded end is that the way the raise and lower for a smooth ride. the back seems easy but front can not wrap my head around it. i know i bet a dumb ? please help

What do you mean by treaded end? The top or the bottom? Because usually the adjustements on coilovers are in the middle at the bottom of the spring itself. Like are you saying that theres tread where the top plate is? And you need to let me know how the car handls with these coilovers. I'm thinking about getting the Pro ones, and I was looking for some feedback.

the rear shock and front strut has a threading like a bolt on the shaft that screws into the bracket that connects to the lower control arms. gonna install today

I have had these for about 3 years.

The front strut adjustment may be different from what you have seen on other coilovers. The top piece of the strut (where the spring is), is not supposed to be adjusted. The perch below the spring is supposed to be screwed up until it is snug against the spring.

It is the lower part of the strut you are supposed to adjust. You will have to keep experimenting with the height adjustment until you get it where you want.

so ur sayin on the front u do not adjust the actual spring u just lower the perch that is connected to the spindle?

my coilovers in my old benz were a lil stiff, anyone had this problem in their scion? they were not K sport I had, but I have heard good things about them

I find that my K-Sports make a fairly harsh ride. I have it set to the softest setting, and it still seems rough.
Although, I have not used any other coilover, so I cannot make a real comparison.

Even though its a rough ride, I really enjoy the cornering ability they give.
