Default Monroe Strut info needed

Looked up the Echo on the web for the shocks and struts to go in my '04 xB. List is the 5987 which I am getting. However, for the struts it lists the 71575 strut and a 63618 boot kit.

Does the xB need the boot kit with the strut, or only the strut?
