I have flashbacks of eating at that Wendy's too. I just can't bring myself to go there anymore.

Van what is your stance on stacking 2 hub shims ( Off road use only of course ) to get 20mm spacing?

I did that for a bit. :D Works great, I drove with the spacer shims on and the camber plates. Went from San Jose to Santa Maria for a show. Didn't have one problem. :D

from xB_Factor:
16x7 with a +37mm offset, 205/50 P Zero Neros.
I hate to ask a question that has probably been over-hashed, but does a higher positive offset bring the wheel further toward the fender?

The wheels I have are +45mm, and I am trying to get an idea of how close to the fender I will get with the OTG shims. Am I going to be 8mm closer or further than the pics of the 37s? any input would be appreciated.

thanks[/quote]

The lower the number, the further outward they will be. Rim width is also needed to determine low they will sit. Assuming your rims are 7 inches wide like mine are, your's will be 8mm further inward than mine....even with the hub spacers.

A "positive" offset just means that the mounting surface of the wheel is further outward compared to the cross sectioned center line of the rim. Almost all front drivers use a +offset.

The OTG spacer will push the hub outward almost 10mm.....9.65mm to be exact. It doesn't actually change the wheel offset, just widens the track by about 20mm.....both sides combined.
