it doesn't really matter if the dead coils are on top or bottom, it works the same.

but I just put springs in where the writing is the right way up.

Right of mind I guess with me.

But if you think, there shouldn't be any real difference in how it all works if the dead coils are on the top or bottom.

But the size of the ends are different. the ends are made to seat in either the top or the bottom perch. It may not matter but they are still upside down.

Here is the megan racing springs dead coils... The tighter wound coils are on top. There really isn't a dead coil

My previous TRD Springs ... i had them installed backwards with the coils on the bottom instead of the top. i really didn't notice a difference.

Hey TJ, how do you like the megan springs? How's the ride compared the TRD's? By the way, thanks for the pic!

Swede- You know i really like the ride, sporty. You will feel bumps and differences in the road....expansion joints get old after a while too but I don't mind semi stiff springs like the megan racing ones, even driving to Los Angeles/SD area. Plus they're cheap. The ride is stiffer to say the least compared to the TRD's but the rear stiffness has been subdued with the Monroe 5870 sensatrac shocks.

I would recommend these springs for someone who wants performance. Although i will let people know that these springs will give the xB a slight raked look from front to back.

And yes you have them on correctly swede
