I used to call it en-kay, but my bro said it's ink-y, so I met him halfway, and started calling it en-key.

I called Enkei "inky" as a kid.

If I am not mistaken though it is actually pronounced "On-kei". Rhymes with "eye."

T-N or T-en. Here is my reason: Aren't E and I vowels. So if a vowel is in front of another letter, it has no sound, just a name. Confused???? u would say "A" not, "Ayyy." Remember ur kindergarden teachings. They made u do all the sounds and stuff.

So The "i" would make the e, a E. Hence, T and then N.

I have a funny feeling my reason is all **** up.

Yep, I was on a PSP forum for a while, waiting for a downgrader for my PSP, and OH MY GOD is their spelling horribly, horribly, drunkenly f***ed up.

Geez...plain and simple its TANE!!!! This is a Japanese company. They spell and pronounce different than we do. So....are we all done with this now? Class how do we pronounce it? Altogether now...TANE

 

Untill I saw that thing on the Speed channel, I thought it was pronounced like the the 3 eyed guy from DBZ (Tea-in). Now i say it with a long "A" sound.
