SCION bB "Bagged Box"
i'm not a tuner ;-) i'm a minitrucker!
joe, is it your scion you wanna bag? Just from the horror stories of the easy street kit, I wouldn't go with that, most likely. I've never been a fan of bags that are banded on.
I recommend NEVER getting anything through AIM or Chasis Tech, or learn the hard way.
Suicidedoors.com and fbimini.com has a lot of stuff that is good.
Suicide has good prices on tanks, compressors, valves.
FBImini has rear brackets for 2500lb bags for the scion, that is what I will be going with.
Even though I don't want to, but I am going with EAI cylinders in the front of mine. The EAI X-Cylinder will most likely be the best thing for the front right now since I only hear issues with the rest of these set ups out there. With Cylinders, your only problem will be in normal wear and tear and will have to replace/rebuild the seals, which isn't hard since there are kits you can get right from EAI to replace the seals.
Everything will last long with no leaks and such if its installed correctly. Finding lil leaks here and there and fixing em shouldn't be a problem. Once everything is done properally, you're good to go.

as a matter of fact removing the front sway bar has no effect on the way it drives at all because i have done it.
Yeah its my scion xb that I want to bad I have heard the horror stories about people breaking down and blowing bags as they say and almost wreaking but its just to cool looking and I think I want to try it. If its installed correctlyit shouldn't do that right sittin
if a bag blew, your car wouldn't really be out of control, you'd basically just drop. blowing bags and such is a risk you gotta take with air suspension, normal wear and tear will cause it over time. With my S-10, i have only blown one bag, and its been bagged for a few years, so thats pretty good in my book, haha.

whoah . what ? what horror stories ? i havent heard of any and it's a prominent kit for us scions. hmm care to elaborate ? I've heard of lines bursting but nothing about easy street. well other than the problems with some of the earlier front setups.
BTW, Blowing bags isn't that scarey. I blew my first one at 60, but atleast I had long shocks still on the car so I could roll even without bags on the back. Losing a front bag would be alot worse I'd imagine.
Bagging a Daily Driven vehicle there will always be something.. sometime.. somewhere.. something will break.. At First I had the Easy Street Bags and within 2-3 months I blew one
What I do Is keep extra line / fittings and things like that with me at all times.. I have a small tool box I use that has all the tools I would need in case an emergency came up

I AM NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH YOU! you obviously still have your sway bar and i do not. and seeing how i have been on bags for the last seven months i believe i know what i am talking about. there is no diffrence with the sway bar removed except a better ride, because if you look under your car you will notice how much of a bind the sway bar is in which is making your ride rougher. and besides that who puts bags on a car that wants to try and do a hundred around a turn anyways.

No kidding, I'm not removing my sway bar as my personal preference. Be sides, I don't want to go any lower than I already have. i am uncomfortable with the power steering belt rubbing the tierod. Besides, people will always flame and hate you anyway, it's society. biuldy your car the way you want and don't post up pics on the site or make any claims such layin frame and on one will hate. I quit doing that when I got my Works and everyone hated and flamed me for it. I am still dumbfounded by the hostility. Now I keep my new ideas within my region. Good luck and have fun.
I am currently in the middle of having my interior done. After this, I am going to redo all of my airline to 2500psi rubber hose. This hose adds alot more flexibility and with the threaded fittings, there is less worry of fitting failure. Weather and wear and tear make it impossible for a system to be completely worry free. To this day, it is a habit to listen for small noises. Anyone concerning with the driveability of their vehicle would as well.
The only way for any XB to lay "frame" as everyone has so succinctly put it, would be to first remove the factory body kit to expose the pinch welds of the unibody structure. Unibody vehicles do not have a conventional frame as do many big body car and trucks.
Even after you remove the factory body kit, you still need to worry about the exhaust to say the least. The torsion beam in the back that you say lays, doesn't even come close to touching. The unibody is a few inches higher than the side skirts even. If you have any type of aftermarket exhaust, you will scrape the crap out of that first.
