Default SHIBBY!!! got my swaybars

around 7:40 the door bell rings and i look out the window and see a guy with a package and im like WTH!! i go outside and the guy tells me he has a package for me and just wanted to make sure i got it i look at the name on the box and it says hotchkis and im like GYEAH i grab it and tell him thanks and come inside and take pics and everything but im on my laptop so i havent uploaded them yet but when i get back to my room i will so yall can see i just had to tell someone and who better to tell then everyone on scionlife :D

i ordered them from nopi shyt i forgot i even ordered them i know theyre 166.50 and i got ground shipping which was 12.51

iono about the diy i could just post the directions that hotchkis sent with the kit if youd like but i might just have a shop install it so it would save me the time and hassel not sure tho

as for the clips ill see what i can do not sure about that yet sinces its a little dangerous around here and itll be hard to just go somewhere and just bust out some bodyrolls but ill see what i can do

do you need some help on installation? I have done a couple already and my own. Not going to be a picnic, I can tell you that. Do you have a lift? If so let me know. I can tell you now the subframe is goin to come off for the install.

i could get acess to one at my dads friends shop but i dont think im going to do it myself since its a step up from a novice install i could do it myself but been feeling really lazy so i might just prolly have the shop carboy install them when ever i go get a set of new rims or if i have nothing to do this weekend ill pm you for some help thanks stylis apreciate it

yeah Stylis has a few notches on his belt for these puppies.. as for how they stick... damn, following Stylis and Mikey down to Exposed in the Grapvine area of I-5 was crazy... really impressive, it was funny to see them hit big bumps though and see them pickup a bit

anyone know how much will the dealer charge to install the bars cause i need to go get an oil change so ima head over there today and get the oil change and ask them to install the bars while theyre at it but can someone give me a rough estimation

The back one should take that long looking at it since its an add on....you could do that yourself....as for the front....what I heard I would probably set aside 50 to 100 bucks....I say 100 just because ya never know

i just got back from the toyota/scion dealer and i got my free oil change and a quote for the installation of the sway bars. he told me it would be 136 bucks and an hour to do it so dinkjs was pretty close so tomorrow afternoon ill be taking them corners like it aint no thang :twisted: :twisted:

man dont go to the dealer.....that is way to much for that.....go to any mechanic who knows how to put them on....which is pretty much all of them....you can get it done alot closer to 100 dollars....they are ___ raping you
