I have the Tanabe DF setup, and was wondering what difference if any does the orientation of the rear springs make? (I.E. the diff. between the close coils at the bottom vs. the top.)

 

Just have the lettering oriented so it looks normal.

 

i know how its supposed to go, but i want to know if doing it "upside-down" will make a diference

 

yes most likely it will.

 

no it doesn't. I had my s-techs both ways, and there was no difference.

 

any other input? i put the closer coils at the top today, and either orientation they touch, only leaving the wide spring area open. i was hoping they wouldnt so i might get a more comfortable ride, but either way ill drive it tommorow to see if i can feel anything.

 

No noticeable difference.
