springs and tie bar.....shocks/struts too???
i have a black 06 xA and am not really happy with the way it handles. Since its my first new car i want to keep the warranty, so im thinking of doing the strut bar and springs through the dealership, the question i have is: Is it a bad idea to do the trd lowering springs without also doing shocks and struts? i thought i heard that it will cause the oem shocks and struts to wear faster than normal? Is this true? I would prefer not to change those parts because i dont want to spend the money, and am not going to be racing the car at all, would just like the feel of a stiffer ride...
only other question, i know the trd springs drop the car 20mm... i live in upstate new york, anyone else drive their lowered scion through heavy snow and experience any probs with the ride height?
thanks for any replies-
