I personally have the progress bar on and also as a general consensus this is THE sway bar to have. It's construction is rock solid and installation is pretty easy. This bar improves the handling of the car immensly. No more understeer and the body roll is reduced considerably. I picked up my Progress 22mm rear seay bar on ebay for about $140.00 and did the installation in about 25 minutes.

So is the progress bar a add-on like the hotchkis? Or is it a complete replacement.

I put on a hotchkis bar yesterday. I think i'm going to see how I like it, the decide if I want to get a progress bar. It was a pain getting the bolts to drop down those holes, when I was installing the bar that is. I had to buy a little gripper, then I got them in there in 2 min. But like everyone said, it's a snap to install.

I have had my Progress bar on for a few days now. I would have to say that’s it’s an amazing mod to have. Body roll is greatly reduced, that’s to be expected. What I found is the ride is so much smoother. Even on the highway on a relatively flat surface the car does not bounce or sway nearly as much as it used too. It just makes the car feel much more solid and fun to drive.

the new TRD bar or the proven Progress bar? Any thoughts? I would prefer to have something trd on my ride... I was thinking the TRD sway would be equal performane wise and possibly better quality wise than progress, its the same .22mm.

What do you mean by "new TRD"? Isn't this the same one that they've been selling that is really just a Progress bar painted red?

I have the progress bar and its amazing!! But from what ive heard the whiteline is better (harder to find, but better), its not an add-on bar to the make the rear stronger its an actual sway bar that connect to the wheel hubs, not the already existing torsion beam. I didnt get the whiteline because its such a pain in the **** to get. The progress can be bought practically anywhere on the internet, including eBay. Juts point, click and its yours. The whiteline you need to make phone calls, ask for a certain product and then wait a month or 2 to receive it (from what ive heard).

Not everyone. :D

I have the TRD sway bar and I love it. Reduced body roll, increased turn-in and less oversteer. I got mine from Spark's TRD for $145 plus shipping. I also like that I can see the red bar through the wheels.

If whiteline is a replacement and progress is an add on... wouldnt it be possible to use both?
