Default Tanabe Coilovers Install

I was wondering if anyone out there has installed Tanabe Sustec Pro coilovers on their box? I'm usually pretty savy, but there is a part for the rear that I am trying to determine how it's installed. In the picture below I have arrows pointed to the pieces I am confused on.

I know they go with the rear springs, but I can't determine how they install to give me the adjustability they are suppose to. I already have a call into Tanabe to get the manual, but nothing yet

Thanks for the help

If im not too mistaken there should be sleeves for the rear. Someone correct me if im wrong. All the coilovers ive seen for the XB have rear sleeves to adjust the height.

they go into the bottom seat of the spring perch. if you look at it there is a hole in the center other spring seat. that gold mount is in 4pcs (spring seat, upper threaded sleeve, large lower lock nut, and lower lock nut for the adj perch). you first insert the top 2 sections into the hole, thread on the large lock nut, adj height then lock it down with the smaller lock nut. its easier to see once you're under the car looking at it.

thanks for the info guys - yes they are adjustable - there is a nut that you can adjust or you turn the entire platform that the the spring sits on. I was able to figure it out and get them installed.

Thanks for the help and I love these coils, they ride so nice

that last pic looks bad because the car is on jackstands and the suspension is extended all the way down. basically its not in its natural position in that pic, it will compress onto itself once the car is back on the ground. and the lower perch is bolted on so it wont fly out later while youre driving

if it wasnt for the spankin deal i got on my jic coilovers, these would have been the ones i went with. i heard the ride comfort is among the best when compared to other setups

^^ yup. look at the pic in detail next time.

the car was up in the air to check clearance on those wheels. i took to pic of the coils as they were planned to be taken off to sell.

all adj coilovers for the 1st gen xB/xA look like that. adj spindle/platform and spring. it's more than secure and wont fall off unless the entire subframe is dropped to allow the springs to fall out of place.
