Hi Guys I m having hard time deciding between the skunk2 or the tein s-techs. My main concern is which one will offer a better ride while still getting me lower. Your Thoughts would greatly be appreciated

I thought skunk2 were supposed to be good are the teins really that much better?

 

skunk2 might be a stiffer ride than the teins here, and the teins will drop you lower than the skunk2s. i personally like tein as a company, so that's why i went with htechs.

S-Techs. Best money i ever spent on suspension in my life and I have had them all, Progress, H&R, Eibach, Skunk 2, Sprint.... The ride on my xA dramatically got smoother and better but more supportive in the corners and also about 2" lower.

 

I've had S-Techs on my xB for a few years now and havn't had a problem yet. Only scraped once.

 

whats the best place to buy the s-techs?

 

Will I need an Alignment after I install theses?

 

i'd say talk to JSCSpeed on classifieds. i got my htechs from them for a great price shipped.

as for alignment, i'd say wait for a while for the springs to settle (a month or two) and then get an alignment.

 

yes you will need an algnment anytime you take off your tires basically.
