Default For those of you with Goldline springs

After reading all the good reviews of the Goldlines, I got myself these springs on my xA. I expected the ride to be smoother according to all the reviews that I read, but I feel that it's bumpier that I thought it would be. Do any of you guys have this problem?

i dont think there is any aftermarket spring that will make the ride smoother. All of the springs that I am familiar with are designed for handling, not "squishiness". The Goldlines are nice though, if you are not happy with them I may be interested in buying them. I install springs all the time and can probably move them quickly.

I guess I was expecting too much from the reviews. Do you think the Spy or the Eibach will ride better?

Do you mean they are better than stock but still a little stiffer than what you'd like? Try the Tanabe's cuz people say they are a little buncier. bouncier=smoother than stiff right. these were smooth when i rode in them.

I have Eibachs on my Xa and find the ride smoother than stock. Eibachs are progressive so they still handle better than stock too.

the goldlines are sweet..no doubt!!!! adjustable coilovers will give you more adjustment and probably depending on the quality smooth out the ride more... I have a Tein setup because I wanted something more than just a lowered look. The goldlines will ride smoother for sure.

I met you at a TSW meet awhile back right before you were gonna get the tein coilovers- so, how do they feel? Does the drop look nice too?

i don't know about you...but on my xB..the goldlines are way smoother than the stock stiff springs. of course, it's no lexus ride...but it's softer than the stock ride. i'm not sure how an xA springs are set compared to xB..but i definitely noticed the difference the moment i got my Goldlines.

yeah the drop looks about the same I thought it might be lower but I haven't fully gotten use to the feel....I'm just so stoked on the way they react when I'm in the canyon (twistys) so firm so sure..Now I need the strut brace to make it stick a bit better....yeah TEIN! no doubt!

this is exactly why I tell people to just go with a 2" drop, you will end up going 2" eventually.
