I've got S-techs, and I'm looking for a good, cost-effective handling setup. I don't want to fork over the cash for KSports, and I'l never adjust the ride height, so I'm looking into just replacing the shocks. I was going to go with Koni Yellows, but I've had good luck with Tokico in the past.
Thoughts?

I am researching what rear suspension component to use with my Progress Coilover set up (still waiting on them to arrive). So when you say that a stiffer shock is needed to handle the progress set up does that mean the monroes will just constantly bottom out? Right now I am in possesion of TRD shocks, stockers and newly aquired monroe's. Obviously I will try them all out, but having no experience with this set up I am just looking for any info peeps can give.
you should not have gotten the monroes... i still dont understand why people on here love them so much, they are mushy and blow easily when you are lowered or have stiff springs (progress is very stiff). you have the TRD, might as well use them – of the 3 sets you have, these will handle the best. did you only buy the coilovers for looks alone?
how bout you get a set of HTS and tell me how they ride :D

Yea, dont the monroe 5870's work well with lowered boxes? That is what I have been reading on this board anyway.
This is my first go around with coilovers, I basically had a budget to work with and made my decision as such. I have read the good and bad about this set up, but you know how it goes man. Opinions are like @ssholes....everyones got one. The only way to find out if they will satisfy my needs is to try them. If I hate them, I will dole them off cheap and move on.

as far as monroe struts... it depends on what you want out of your ride. if youre looking for comfort and lowering, then i suppose monroe would be a good choice, but why would you waste your coilovers on a sub-par handling set of struts? you wont be getting the most out of your coilovers... it would have been more cost effective to go with a set of df210's with your monroes.
i just.... HATE monroe struts. all of their models, even the sensatrac. they sucked on every other car ive driven, they blew 1 month after i got h&r's for the camry. excuse my extreme anti-monroe attitude
