Default Towing question..

So I have some bounce houses I rent out on the weekend's and was wondering if my 06 Scion xB will be OK to hook a small trailer to deliver my bounce houses in?
Can my Scion handle a trailer and bouncers??

Thanks in advance

Try U-Haul.
Go thru the rental process for a trailer and see if they list your xB. If so, then it is possible

Hey, so under the "Starting and Driving" section of the Owners Manual, it says Scion doesn't recommend towing with your xB since it isn't designed for trailer towing or for the use of tow hitch mounted carriers.

I found that info on page 157.

Renting out bounce houses sounds like a pretty cool side business, btw!

If they make a hitch for it; you'll be fine. Might be a lil ruff on the brakes.

I just got a hitch installed by Uhaul on my 2006 xB. They say I can tow up to 1100 lbs. by renting their 4x8 or 5x8 trailers. Since the trailers are about 1000 lbs. the whole tow weight is right around 2000 lbs. I've asked a lot of car/truck people if it would be ok to tow my 1000 lbs. of single bedroom furniture across the country and they say as long as I take it slow it should work. Still, I might back out at the last minute, I hate the idea of towing on such a long haul. I'm seriously thinking about stuffing everything I possibly can into my trusty xB and buying new stuff at my destination.
