I have them with the TRD springs and they were awsome!!

BUT^^^The shocks wore out before I had 30k miles on them. Now I'm saving for a good set of coilovers.

Hope that helps.

I never looked into it either, but the other TRD parts have a separate warranty and is not covered by the Toyota one, at least that is what I remembered.

If it was dealer installed it's covered under the 3 year / 36 k miles warranty or else the part is warrantied under 1 year / 12k miles

I like my trd springs and shocks setup, the ride seems more controlled up and down (firm, not harsh)

If not purchased when you bought ur xB then you have only a seperate 12 month warranty on them.

SO if I bought them when I bought the car...AND had the dealer install them, is it a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty? Anyone know about this?

Cool, thanks for the info.

Next question...I bought it in Mass. and my permanent address is in Louisiana, but currently live in Ca. If I have a problem, how will the dealer I take it to know I had them installed at a dealer and not another shop? I never got an invoice or any paperwork for these parts...just picked it up and waved goodbye...VIN number maybe?

All service department have a customer database where they can pull up your record. If the Toyota service department gives you a problem you can tell them which dealership you got it installed and they can give them a call. But usually if it was installed properly they won't give you a problem.

If any dealership give you a problem, talk to the service manager. And if the manager doesn't solve your problem tell them that you'll give them a poor CSI score and call their scion regional rep about the problem.
