Default U.A.S. Air Suspension Feedback?

I am Looking for some feedback on how you like The Universal Air Suspension (U.A.S.) Air ride kits for the XB?

Is there any questions you have on the Air kits you already have on your XB?

everywhere Ive looked i costs an arm and a leg for your full kit. If I was to spend that kind of money, I would just get the air runner kit.

Check out the pics on the www.universalairsuspension.com site to see how low the Scions sit when aired out.

Check out the price on the website at Universal Air Suspension, its a complete all electric kit and is usually cheaper in cost then most of the others.

the cheapest kit out there is the FBI kit. The price of your kit is about the same as all the others.

There is some kits that are cheaper out there, and as for the same price kits U.A.S usually offers more in there kit like stainless steel polished 5 gall tank, electric 1/2 inch valves, 2 compressors, all dot fittings and line, ect. If you really wanted to special order your kit to downgrade it, it would be cheaper. The U.A.S. Standerd kit is what we Suggest for the best performance .

The standerd kit incluceds the following:

2 VIAIR 380C Chrome, 200 PSI, 100% Duty Cycle Air Compressors
1 200 PSI Pressure Switch
1 9 Switch Chrome Locking Switch Box
8 "Blow Proof" 1/2 Valve
2 Universal Air Suspension Aero Sport
2 Universal Air Suspension Air House 8.5"
1 D.O.T. Fittings & Airline For F.B.S.S
1 Stainless Steel polished 5 Gallon Air Tank (Fits Under Rear, Will Not Rust!)
1 Set of Scion F+R Brackets
2 Relay/Fuse Pack
1 Bolt Pack
2 Safety Check Valves
1 Install kit

Price might be a little bit of a deterrent. However on the flip side you do offer a few things that others don't for about the same price. ie. the two 380c compressors.
Most of the people I know riding on air either did themselves or had a lot of help. Also the three other guys I know who did their bags also pieced together a "kit" for about half of what UAS is asking. Then again, we all work in shops and are able to do our own labor which brings me to. . .

. . .If I understand correctly there is a little wielding needed for the front bags right? If that is the case it might be a problem for some people in areas where custom shops are hard to come by. If I am wrong then to hell with what I just said. lol. I know I'm lazy and just want to take out the old struts and pop in the new ones. Unfortunately the only set that I knowthat come available seperate from a kit are the Easy Street struts. Which I am BTW growing to dislike.

Not sure how much I like the bags. I am partial to double convoluted bags. Why I can't tell you but I'm sure if Lincoln/Ford/Rover use sleeve/single convo bags then they must be fine.

If I had to do my set up all over again I'd probably piece it together again. Mainly due to cost and the possible hassle of dealing with the front strut. I do know that the few owners I know running around with the UAS kit have been pretty happy about it.

There is no welding needed in the U.A.S kit for the XB but cutting the lower spring perch is required, so there is modifing that needs to be done on the strut itself. I feel you on the lazy thing I am the same way somtimes. lol I have learned sometimes research is definitly needed before buying anything so you know if spending less or more money or time might be a good thing or bad thing.

I know what you mean. Tomorrow I have to do wire clean up, fix an air leak, and see if I can figure out if my pressure sending is messed up or if my gauge just sucks. lol

Like I said, it costs too much. You may think its a deal but I bought the complete easystreet kit for under 1500 new through a site sponsor here way back in the day. I also got more in the kit like a set of gauges and fittings/lines to install them for the front and rear, water trap, etc. I could have bought the second ViAir 380 and still be under your price and I didnt need to cut the factory struts.

Im not saying their kit is better than yours because their front struts suck IMO, its just a common fact among us xB owners that if you're going to spend that kind of money, you go with Airrunner or another JDM kit.

I have a question. Will the Aero Sport air spring work with a coil over? I have a set of GAB Wagon coil overs and I believe they will work seeing that I don't have to cut the perches since they are not a factory strut? I think the only thing I need is to remove the existing springs and use your flat plate brackets? Please let me know because I am interested in building my own kit but using your front and rear bags.

well this weekend i will be installing my air kit. The majority of it is from universal. I have their bags & brackets, tank, compressor. I bought everything else from other companies and my price came out to just under 1400.
