Default Was wondering how I should trim a couple inches off my mudflaps?

A few days ago I finally got the chance to lower my car, and I couldn't be happier with it! Everything is awesome like I thought it would be, except the mudflaps always scrape since they're a few inches lower to the ground than the body of the car.

How should I go about trimming them down a little? Or should I just remove em completely...I kinda like the look they provide though..

Any thoughts?

I would take them off and mark how much you want to take off. Then use a dremel on them so that they are even when you put that back.

Are they easy to remove? I believe it's just a few plastic clips, not certain.

Dont' know as I don't have any yet. From what i've read (new owner here) people are just drilling holes to mount on aftermarket ones. If these are factory, i'm sure they are held in via clip.

Okay so I just opted to take them off. If I were to trim even an inch it would defeat the purpose of a mudflap. There's three small 10mm screws you undo and that's it. Thanks for your help man! @laforze

No problem. I'm curious to know how low your car is, or what option you went to lower it, as I want the mudflaps eventually and will most likely go the TRD route in regards to springs/struts.

I'm dropped on KW Variant 2s; 2.5 inches in the front and 2 in the rear. They add about 2.5 more inches from the body to the floor and would scrape whenever I would go over anything.
