Default 10mm OTG shims with 18's with 45offset will this work

I have some Konig rims that have been just sitting in my room for over a year and will be mounting them next spring. I have two ?'s

Ist: for the rear i have The OTG 10mm shims, if im going to be runing 18's x 7.5 with a 45mm offset will the 10mm shims work or will i need spacers to bring the wheels out to the lip of the fender, and if i do this will i need to roll the rear fenders?

2nd: for the front i know i will need soom spacers, i just dont know what size to get for it to look right.

keep in mind that I dont have endless amounts of cash.

Thanks much.

10mm for the rears will pull your rims flush with the fronts.

As for needing them, it really isn't necessary for a 7.5 wide rim and with that 45 offset. I think you should be OK.

I had 18" Konig Unknowns, 7.5 wide, 45 offset, OTG shims, and 2" drop. You wont have any problems. You DON'T need spacers for the front.

There is no way I could have run a 45 offset without spacers. MY 42 offset almost rubbed the welded nut on the suspension arm. I couldnt get my pinky between them without spacers.

OTG shims are your friend, that's why I don't need wheel spacers

I couldn't disagree more. 7.5 +45 will rub the inside of the rear rim against the frame.

I have +45 rims, and 25mm rear spacers _almost_ get the edges of the rims where they should be. 35mm would really do it, but I don't think a spacer that big is a good idea (25 is pushin!) If i do anything else, it will be new wheels.

It is true that the rears have an extra +10 offset, and he OTG shims do a good job of bringing the rears inline with the fronts, as drewspeed says.

to answer your question, I think it's a great idea. I wouldn't run 45s without some sort of shim/spacer - not a good idea.
