haha bboxd! wouldnt +15 up front stick out on a 7"? my +25's are already poking out from the body

+25 up front for a 7" and +25 out back for a 8" is what work wheels told me, or you can run a +15 w/camber like bboxd said (and i agree )

if you want to be just flush go with +25 all around, 7" up front and 8" out back

7" +25 is a surefire way to go with no rubbing problems, but as you can see in the pic above, there's about 10-12mm to go before the rim is really flush to the fender lip.

Here is 17x8 +25. I had lots of rubbing though because I am lowered 3+ inches and the narrowest tire they make for 17" is 205:

Out of those choices, I would get 16x8 +25 all around and 195/50 tires. If I were running 16's, I'd look for 16x9 +15~30 and 215/40 tires

^^^That works for me.

Or if slightly tucked and not running staggered fitment, 16x7 +25 and OTG rear shims.

I got some 16x7 +40s sitting next to me.

If I could be as LOW as Brad, that's the setup I'd want. If you can't be super flush, may as well be tucked!!

Rico,

If I get some 15s, I'll lower my xB another inch! Thanks to some custom springs. But then I wouldn't be able to drive anywhere cuz I'd be scraping!

Dustin,

You have some really nice wheels. C'mon now. No need to feel otherwise.

Aren't those supposed to still be in the boxes? Wrapped in 205/50/16 it's going to be nice even with the high offset.

haha. i know you guys know your poop thats why i look up to you guys . most of the info i go by is what the guys at work wheels told me when i was gonna get 7" and 8" staggered equip 01's . they said for 7" all 4 corners run +25 up front and +15 out back OR stagger 7"/8" and go +25 all around. i base myself on that when i post about fitment and such but i learn something new everyday here!

The guys at Work know what they're talking about to keep things hassle-free and rub-free. I just like going more extreme along with the hassle that comes with it

(Hope I don't come off sounding like I know it all, I didn't know poop from crap before SL, and I'm still learning.)

I forgot to ask last nite, Brian, are you going to space them out or anything? I've been looking for some spacers to put them out to like +25 all around or so, but i was worried about the quality of ones ive seen.

I'll ask the shop that is doing the tire mounting tomorrow morning what they would recommend on spacers if anything. I trust the guys at the shop and it is the only place I will take my xB for a alignment.

The OTG hub spacers in the rear helped alot so I plan on keeping them on.

Nah, I don't know anything, anything at all! So I've been told.

My three year old is the one who advises me.

I don't think anyone looks up to me except my kids. Well, even that is questionable.

Unless of course you're under 5' 7"!
