I have a stock Xb and am sick of my factory wheels so I'm spending my tax return on some new one's

I was wondering the difference in comfort from 17's to 18's.

Also should I be concerned with wheel weight boggin me down at all???

Unless you get forged wheels (expensive) 17's and especially 18's are gonna be heavier than 15's and 16's. The smaller wheels with the right tires can look really good and and won't hurt performance. Also, a lowered xB, even with stock wheels, can look pretty good...

 

17"s are cool with me.

im in the same dillema and think im gonna go with 17s. tires are less expensive when it comes time to replace.

 

It just depends on the style of wheels you want, and the stance you want. I can say that 17's give you alot more options with offset and tire sizes. And they will ride better too.

 

I am partial to 18's.... I like the bigger wheel look

 

i got 17's. the ride is pretty comfortable and i heard it's better compared to the 18"s.

IMO, 18's look really nice. but they're a little bit uncomfortable and weigh more compared to the 17's.

i'd say go for the 17's.

 

If you live in an area with crappy roads, you'll start to hate riding on 18s. It's not a whole lot of tire to work with. They're also usually heavy as well.

 

I'm gonna say 18's, I am partial to the look.
