18+Drop or 19's
Im considering getting some 18's and getting the tein basic coilovers and lowering them till the wheel well is full. Or possibly just getting 19's. If im getting my xA supercharged soon would i want the 18 and coilover so the ride is safer? Or do 19's just look way too cool to pass up?
as far as i know 20's fit. I think you might have to remove the plastic inner fender covers so it doesnt rub. I just know ive seen them. What i want is the biggest rim and a sporty ride since im trying to cram as much power in it as i can so i need coilovers, big brake kit, sway bars, ect.
out of those two sizes, 18's + coilovers will be your best bet. If it were me, i'd probably do 17's but IMO 19's are too big for what your going to do. 20's will fit, but with a fair amount of modification. IMO not worth it, and they look like crap on the box. But, to each their own. Good luck regardless of what you do, Cya
im going with the 18's. 18 x 7.5 DRAG DR11's in gloss black. How do you fit a tire for that size? I want the widest tire and a 35-40 for tire height so i get a nicer ride. so 215/40ZR18 or 235? Im totally lost when it comes to tires and such.
When i had 18's, i had 215/18/35's... 235, you will have a serious rubbing problem..
I don't know anyone running that wide of a tire, but if i had to guess you would need adjustable camber, and in the front you would need to do what you would do for 20'' rims...which is removing the fender wall liner, and other fender adjustments. You would more than likely definitely need adjustable camber, cusco is coming out with front adjustable camber..and if im not mistaken, someone already has rear camber out... don't think its cusco though...
Anyway, your better off going with the 215 size, you *might* be able to squeeze 220's but, you would probably need camber for that too..which looks hot IMO, but still can be a pain in the ___ if you have to do fender modifications...
Good luck!!
