What's the largest you heard of working on an xA? Wish they had the 17"s I originally wanted... bummer.
Just called them and they agreed... sending me 215/35/18's. Whew. These Kobe Viz-5 Black Gloss rims are crazy cool... double chrome lip.... oooooooh. Set of 18"s mounted/balanced/shipped for $800. My xA shall be the envy of you all!!!!
Rims arrived yesterday at 2 pm... were on the car and rolling by 3. 215/35/18 not only fits , it looks amazing. Anyone wanna guesstimate how much of a drop I could do without having issues? 1 1/2 - 2"? Looks great but another inch or so lower and it'd just be sick.
ps www.wheelsnext.com - Highly recommended

Speedo is barely off with 215/35/18... when speedo says 60 you are actually going 59.5. Big whoop. More worried about rubbing issues with drop. My mechanic friend said he could "cut the springs" to do it and also said something about clamping the spring to take a couple links out...??? Sounds scary to me. Anyone wanna chime in?
