Looks great. Would love to do it to mine. How much do they cost? Have any problems with the install?

Since I was using 2 shims per wheel, it took me twice as long because I was too dumb to think of putting some tape on the shims to keep the holes aligned. So it took about an hour. It might be easier with an extra pair of hands. One Ton Garage has the best customer service I've dealt with. Van was very patient answering my questions and at no time tried to make a sell. Very refreshing! Quick free shipping from Cali took a couple of days.

No, but I wasn't expecting any. At least I don't look like a 3-wheeled Morgan coming down the road! I plan on changing to 205 50s when these wear out.

Highly unlikely they could affect anything to void your warrenty. Just follow the directions dealing with your ABS & parking brake cable.

Do you plan to space the front out or does it look ok the way it is? I can't really tell looking at the pic since the front wheels are turned.

I'm satisfied with the front. The body panel flair in the front is not as much as in the rear. To widen front wheels you have to use a wheel spacer which usually requires replacing your stud bolts with longer ones in order to accomidate the spacer. In addition to the initial cost, you have to contend with balance and alignment. IMO, the best way to achieve an aggressive wide a@@ stance would be to get a set of

smokeydog001 or firesquare:

I am sure that I have easily room for one/10mm, but would like to go 20mm-without rolling fenders or rubbing.

With the 20mm setup, can I install only one of the spacers? Or are the bolts sized for two spacers only and I would have to buy either the 10mm kit or 20mm kit and live with it?

BTW: Motegi 17x7, 42 offset, 215/45's

TIA!

It looks like the kits are different, so you can't swap parts around. This is from their site:

Pricing is $70.00 for each spacer shim kit, and that includes FREE shipping. Also available now for those who want more safe and simple spacing, is the stacked spacer shim kit that consists of two sets of spacer shims with the correct length installation hardware, effectively giving almost 20mm (3/4 inch!) of rear wheel spacing. The stacked spacer shim kit is $135.00, and also includes FREE shipping. If you are interested in purchasing either kit, please email: van@onetongarage.com

Yeah, the difference is the length of the bolts. I think you'd be fine with your offset, but I suggest you e-mail Van at OTG for verification at: van@onetongarage.com

Thanks for the info!

Maybe I will just get the 20mm kit. Then I can buy new bolts that are ~10mm shorter and start with 1 spacer.

I wish I had the time to measure the spacer plate area. I could CNC the plate as a one piece 20mm or even a 15mm.

I would talk with Van. For your safety you want bolts that meet OTG specs. You probably can get both sets from him. Again, he can advise you. The time and patience he extended to me over a measly $135 sale was a pleasant suprise and greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, it seems we seldom hear about the exceptionally good experiences people have with vendors.

lets phoenix down this thread, yea.

when i installed my 10mm shim, i had a hard time getting the parking brake line to stretch (the line clamped to the control arm, i think). but since you had 20mm and i had a hard time with the 10mm, how did you get your brake line to stretch? is it possible to loosen that damn clamp? because there seems to be plenty of slack on the other side of it, but it also seems like i wont be able to move that clamp. i was too scared to fck with it but i ended up getting everything to work.

reason im asking is i might be switching to 15mm and with the trouble i had with the 10, the 15mm wont work unless i can do something about that line.

Forget 20 mm spacers. You only need 1/2" ones to match the fronts. PM Mike (AllianceAutoSports) on here and score them for around 50 bucks shipped. You'll thank me later.
