I drive it every day, Only rubs a little in the front when I hit a large bump. The tire hit a spot in the plastic inner fender up front. The Ride is pretty ggod!

I had no problems with the Tein;s, I don't know why you could not do that set up with Gold Lines.
I have spacers coming for the Rear from Van to see the rear wheels out a bit!

Oh ok. I was just mentioning it bc I thought Teins weren't as much of a drop as GL's. My husbands box is LOW! Someone quoted him 3K just to make 20's fit in the first place!!

i dont have 20's yet but i guessing you would rub a lot more, you good get a different offset or build it with spacers but then your wheels might stick out and look like crap, thats just my two cents though

imo, anyone who gets wheels larger then 20" is a dumbass if they don't upgrade their brakes.

20" diameter wheel is ALOT of rolling mass, and I'm sure as hell the little xB's brakes can't stop them very well at speed.

It's like seeing these idiots in their Hummers with 26" rims on them, with stock brakes!! If someone could afford 26" rims, then they should be able to afford a BBK.

Hey DUMBASS!

What do you mean LARGER than 20's?? Did you read this thread at all?? Did I miss something here? Who said they were getting larger than 20's on a SCION???

Did ANYONE here say they WERENT going to upgrade the brakes??

What The F are you talking about??

It was a simple question....and if you wanna get snooty got talk to YOUR Mother that way!

Who gives a rats a$$ about someones HUMMER?? I dont have a Hummer so that isn't MY problem!!

Posts speak volumes buddy! Says A LOT about the person whos posting too, since all we have to go by is what we read. Are you sure theres not something else bothering you??

20's OMG WTF is the perfect plate for you isn't it???

20s are considerably larger wheels and i think should recieve BBK, but it isnt necessary.

20x8.5 will probably fine, but its the tires and offset that matter

im tired of posting info in here since someone always seems to have a rebutal for things i know. if you want info, you can PM me and I should be able to help.

I'm saying for safety. Sure stock brakes will work, but not for long. Yeah ok, ScionGal, get your panties out of a bunch.

3k to make 20's fit is insane! I have tunabe df210's 2" drop "as far as i can remember" There is some triming and removing and hamering "masaging, lol" that is needed. Unless you get bigger than a 225/35/20 tire! I made mine fit on a saturday afternoon, not to hard. I will walk anyone through it if need be, but do not pay 3k and have someone do it...they are ripping you off!

If you want to go low and not use air then NO! if you want to use airbags and lay the fenders on the tires then yah 8 or 8.5 would work...but would prolly look bad! or if you widebody it and radious the inner wheelwell arches.....

here is mine with 20x7.5 tanabe df210's

the hardest part was trimming some metal off in the rear "see pic" the rest was removing plastic inner wheelwells and mud flap area...and hamering the fire wall in in the front so the wheels will turn without rubbing, but a litle undercoating and nobody will notice!
