Default anybody out there sittin' on 19's?

I'm just wondering if anyone out there is running 19's, on his/her xB and if so, what are the right tire sizes and drops to avoid rubbing, or fouling up speedometer/tachomoter consistency. Thanks...

there are a lot of people running 19's!

either 19x7.5" or 19x8"

the tires are 215/35/19 and they are bigger than stock wheels and will make the speedo/odo run too slow by about 5% i think, but other than that no big rubbing issues i dont think

Two things...there are a lot of potholes down here in SunCity, and I don't know if 35's will be enough. I'd like to play it safe, just in case.

The other thing is: what's the wheel offset required to make everything flush on a pair of 7.5's? What about 8's?

Thanks

I have had no problems with hy set up now a 18200 miles wich include trips to Oregon and Las Vegas. With the wieght of our cars u should not have a problem.
As far as potholes i live in northern cal in acounty that spends very little on roads
does fine, on ur second point u will need to trim plastic inner finder on front
a 2" drop is no problem ride is a little frimer than stock but overall not bad hope this helps and enjoy ur xb oh yea i used standard +42 like honda which allows me to load up and have tire rim tuck under i rear others are runn em flush i cant speak for them but i have had acouple of large 300+ guys in back and no rubn in rear

fyi- Discount Tire Direct has the scion wheel selection updated and on their site now with 19" wheels as an option. It they are offering them with 19" wheels as an option then you can feel pretty safe about any fitment problems. :D
