well, im emailing Diamond now, going to get the ball rolling on these. I'm wondering if running a +20 all around with 15mm spacer in the rear will bring me to about where the silver xb with the red line on the black wheels is at. From my understaning he's at

15x8 +19 f
15x8 +6 r

so if I am +20 f, and +20 rear with a 15m spacer, that makes me +5 rear essentially?

I want it this way to keep a 4 way tire roatation. opinions?

running an even offset all around would be better for rotations, then just run the spacers in the rear. Can't wait to see them on a pw!

PLEASE REMEMBER YOU MUST RUN SPACERS UP FRONT TO CLEAR THE CALIPERS!!!!
Yes i did all caps on purpose haha. and also i got mine balanced at my local shop not sure if they had the right thing needed or what but it worked. the place in called auto innovations and they are located in Milpitas, CA.,

i was planning to get 15x8 + 13 front and 15x8 +3 or -5 rear but i think i need to get new offsets for the front now. How big of a spacer do u need to clear?

you need 15mm of spacing which mean you will need to get extended studs. or you could go with the 25mm spacers that botl on and adjust ur offsets for that.

i thought you an spacers because of the crazy offset. now i realize you picked the crazy offset to allow you to run spacerS?

hmmmm. why the issue with caliper clearance with the wheels i wonder. Diamond gives you a chance to send in measurements to account for all this.

not on a tercel but widened steelies non the less...

I grew up in the 80's and I've always loved subtle looking steel rims with white letters on cars like this one posted by THTCUWT, thanks man!

I hope other 80's car lovers get a kick out of this.:2thumbsup:

compared with my 15" setup (205 50 13 vs 205 60 13)

The wheel dimensions are 13x7 with +6 offset and 4.25" back spacing, so no inner rubbing. I drove on it on the freeway and ran it on speed bumps and pot holes and it there was no fender rubbing, albeit I expected some since the wheel goes .5" out of the fenders... I like the look so far so I don't think I will slam it down. I am pretty much just gonna keep an 80's theme with a lower front end, but not to low, and probably have the rears close to stock height.

This is not a complete set yet because I wanted to make sure the fitment was perfect... and now I know so I'll be getting the rest of the set made within 1 or two months.

:2thumbsup:

You can't make a 16 into a 17... or if you ghetto rigged something, I sure as hell wouldn't trust it.

unless the barrel has a step lip up to 17" you cant mount a 16" face on a barrel designed for a 17" face
