The wheels didn't come with any center caps. I have been looking for some, but these wheels have been discontinued and the center caps are rare to come by. Most people that have any don't want to part with them. I have been looking for alternatives though. I really don't think they look bad without though. Looks better in person too.

As for spacing them out further, I could, but don't have any desire to. H&R (as well as many others) make spacers that have longer wheel studs too. I have considered buying wider (15x wheels with a little bit lower offset too, but haven't done so because this is just my daily driver. I have too many other car projects that get my time & money to keep throwing more at the box. And really, I really like the way it looks now. If anything, I'll just add a set of Koni shocks and some swaybars to the ride if I get a bug up my ___ and call it done.

It has been one of the best winter cars I have ever owned. I comes a close second to the Volvo wagon I had.

I just came back from Discount Tire. They told me that they can't install shims or spacers. Did you guys installed them yourself?
Where I can't take them to get installed?

Discount tire is a joke. I Installed mine, took like 45 minutes. I don't think they knew exactly what you meant. Any place that does mechanical work should be able to follow the easy instructions that come with them.

Yes, the dude that "help" me, looked a little confused. But told me that for "security" reasons, they can't install adaptors or spacers. Company policy.

I read the onetongarage.com shims installations instructions. I guess I need to buy one of those tools that measure the pressure by lbs. Don't I?

I believe you may be able to rent a torque wrench from Autozone or Pep Boys . . . can't remember which auto parts chain rents tools. And yes, installing the shims is incredibly easy. There is tutorial on installing lowering springs on this site somewhere too. Again, very easy with the right tools.

If you were local, I'd even help you. For the small fee of a few cold beers anyway. ;)

If I could I'd throw them on for you even also. You can get one of those wrenches for around 30 bucks. Then you'll have it for other jobs. I use mine for the lugs all the time now.

It's autozone that has the rental tool program. Basicly you buy the tool...use it for however as long as you like and the return it. They will then refund your money. I just did this for a set of coil spring compressors. Easy Peasy

I don't think a torque wrench is one of those tools. Besides, you'll use a torque wrench for the rest of your life anyhow mounting up wheels not to mention everything else that requires a special torque. Or maybe that's just my logic?
Am I the only one that actually puts the proper torque on their lugnuts???

I have a torque wrench...But I do know they (autozone) had on for rent also. My autozone has a board behind the cashier with almost all the tools for rent on it. The actual tool.

Well, I,m going to autozone today. If the price is right, I might just buy it. I'm still looking for my +25 offset. I haven't find something that I like. I think I will get the wheels first and then the shims.
