Falken Ziex Ze 512
I'm looking for feedback from anyone who is running Falken Ziex Ze 512 tires.
What are your likes an dislikes about this tire?
Would you consider buying them again?
How long have they lasted?
How well do they do around tight curves?
Im intersted in a lasting performance tire that can handle hydro-resistance and hard turns, plus the bonus of rim protection. Since I read these Falken 512's were rated #1 in a recent test, good price and the bonus of a rim protector. I am seriously thinking about purchasing them from http://www.discounttiredirect.com in 215/35ZR-18 84Y XL B.

"The new Ziex ZE512 maximizes the all-season performance with a uni-directional tread design and large circumferential grooves for superior wet weather handling. This tire offers a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride along with an improved rim protection ridge to protect your custom rims. Performance never looked so good.
Rated #1 by a leading consumer magazine (Consumer Reports)"
Sounds about like what I am looking for only around $112 each shipped. So what do you think?

I've had 3 sets of these tires and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. While they don't offer as much grip as my Falken Azenis, they are not nearly as noisy or stiff. I even had to run them in the snow 1 day and they worked fine. For my dollar, they're a great all around tire.
I have them in a 215/45-17 and love them, cornering is awesome and after 6K miles, can't really see wear. Rain traction is wonderful. They are a little noisy, but with experience I think it may actually be the lack of sound deadening in the xB versus the tire!
I have the Falken Ziex ZE-512's on my xA and I love them. I wanted a tire that I could leave on year-round and give me good all season performance. I put them on the car last December. They've taken me through 11" of snow with no problems at all, they have great wet traction (no hydroplaning), and they have a better ride and dry traction than the stock Bridgestone Potenza's had. I like them so much, when my wife's stock Goodyears on her xB need replaced, I will get her a set of the Falkens too.
