And out of the blue another awesome wheel company arises. Those are sick wheels and the website and wheel options are topnotch.

The prices are PER wheels. They are made to order and take up to 6 weeks.

Remember how they made those two piece wheels on American Hotrod at the Coddington shop? Like that.

Centers added at the requested offset, then welded on the backside in place.

That way you can have a custom offset for your xB and not find someone else with the same exact wheel. Unless of course they choose the same offset as you.

nope. two piece wheels are not welded together. that doesn't make sense. then there's no reason for the rivets.

on a two piece wheel, the rim is one complete piece, with a removable center, which is held on with rivets.

on a three piece wheel, the rim is two pieces, and the face makes the third piece.

What you said is the way it should be called, but in some of the high dolors wheels, like WORKS (Euroline series), They are two piece wheel but they weld them together, but they still have the rivets for look, Most of time when you have a option to order difffernt offsets, the wheels are multi piece and depending on the design they welded or riveted, but people like to call them 2-piece which is not Sean

2 piece wheels work in different ways depending on the manufacturer..it doesnt always have to have rivets. j line 2 piece is 1 piece barrel 1 piece face barrel is machined to offset while face just denotes on pad setting and welded togethor..how i know this? i have a set and im friends w/ the owner =P

I don't want to go off topic here, but how you would call them 2-piece if you can not seperate them?? lets say if you want to do any type of modification to the face, say deep the center in chrome, you can't just take them apart and put them back to gether but in 2-piece wheel you can do that, Sean

i understand your pt...but it is technically still a 2 pc wheel. by construction its 2 piece. jlines are offered in just about any finish you can think of. polished, anodized, chromed, powdercoated, etc, so u just gotta order it up front. traditionally theres one, two, and three piece wheels. jlines arent technically one piece because a 1 piece rim is casted out of one aluminum or whatever material block. j lines are assembled which makes it a 2. sure its not a 2 piece like work, but its still 2 piece. everyones got their own definition on how a 2 piece should be, but theres also a technical definition that makes it what it is and not..if you really want to take rims apart and etc, get a THREE piece =)

2 piece also doesnt mean it has to be seperated...every rim manfacturer is different on how they do things. IE dazz now for their multi piece racing hart line is all 2 piece now..no longer three unless its its old wheels. they do this to drop the cost of manufactuering. yes those face can be removed. Jline, iforged, hre, and a couple other companies do the 2 piece method that im talking bout. to me im fine w/ the way their 2 pc method is..if i wanted to change the middles out all the time, id just go THREE piece
