Wow, thanks for all the kind words. I really like them. It sucks having to slow your roll a bit because the tires look like o-rings. But worth it for the look I think. :D

Not sure about "plating" per se. These are coated by a process called PermaStar.

I got the four of them chromed, with free pickup and delivery (their shop is 30 miles from here), for $530. Took about a week and a half.
