Default Hyper Black, Gunmetal, or Carbon on a BOP xB ?

Anybody Running Hyper Black, Gunmetal or Carbon wheels on a BOP xB ?
Has anyone seen these on a BOP xB before ? How does it look, is it to dark in anyones opinion?

Any pics?

How is Hyper black easy to care for? My brother inlaw has a Flint Mica Tc optioned out with the hyper blacks but there is no point in asking him. His dad took his car for a ride the other day & said to me "Its a damn shame what he did to that car" LOL Its probably been washed twice since his ownership in august & they were automatic car washes.

Thanks All

Hyper black is just a matte black finish w/ light gloss. VERY easy to take care of since it doesn't show brake dust as easily as silver wheels. I have a set for my car;

18x7.5" HP Racing Hyper Silver Dark EVO rims (+38 offset) with 215/40ZR/18 Falken ZE-512 tires.

I just put them on yesterday and hope to drop it on Tanabe DF210s sometime this week. I'll post before/after pics.

Danny (Doctorcue) has some hyperblack wheels on his xB. Looks good and he has a nice stance w/ the TEIN coilovers.

Hyper Black looks very nice on a BOP. I am not a fan of dark wheels, but they work really nice on BOP's. Or just silver

squirrel, does Doctorcue have any pics posted anywere ? I would love to see it.

Yeah I was thinking of silver again & I came across some Hypers & some Carbon wrapped & it got me thinking. I do feel gunmetal won't look right though - too dark.

I think I am gonna look around some more & try to get some Ideas before I buy, wanna make sure I get it right.

Take your time with buying rims. Usually after a bit of searching you'll find a general style that will fit.

Also, don't bother with rim brands unless it's a popular manuracturer. ADR, RSL, and many others are made in the same factory, just branded with different names and sold at different prices.

These are some of the wheels I was considering. Tell me what you guy think. They are in order of least favorite to most favorite. I hope the links work !

1st is Silver, 2nd is hyperblack, 3rd is carbon wrapped.

I bought it from a friend of mine who works in the wholesale. 800 for the set including hi performance summer tires, mounting and balancing, and lugs.

The second one looks sweet

There are some pics around some where. I'll have to search for some. Maybe from the Apple Hill Run. I'll look around. I thought there were some on his profile, but there isn't.

Have you tried PM'ing him?

Thanks doc i would appreciate it. Also thanks squirrel for finding him :D

I can't afford Tein coilovers but I am thinking Tanabe DF's, from what I read thats as low as you can get with just a spring. Hopefully everything will look the way I want it too when it's all done.

you're welcome.

Danny is part of the crew here in the area. He started out like the rest of us, bone stock, and now has one clean xB.
