i lost my centercap wrench...
the big plastic hex wrench used to remove the centercap on my rims has gone missing. is there any where i can pick one up? i realize that these wrenches are most likely wheel specific but i can't be the only one who has lost their centercap wrench... hopefully somebody knows something

yea, the big center nut is what holds the entire cap onto the rim. right now they are hand tightened but i am afraid that they might loosen themselves and come off. these are discontinued wheels and i really dont want to lose these caps
that sounds like a good idea but id still rather have the wrench, if possible...

i keep mine hand tight on the motegi's on my rs3.0.. i just went to the hardware store, and got 4 large o-rings to fit around the threads.. that has done a real good job of keeping them from getting loose. actually when i rotate them,i have a hell of a time getting them loose because of the o-rings

not sure i understand what you did with the orings... did you screw the cap over them so they get caught in between the threads, or did you just sandwich the oring between the bottom hex nut and the cap and hand-tighten?

try looking at harbor frait, they have some wrenches large enough for that.
this one would have the size you need
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=93468
i know they also have other ones that are like shower valve wrenches only bigger
