Not a 100% right now but I am borderline on spinners and wanted anyone's opinion on just the tire size not the rims....

18x7 42 offset
I know I can run a 35 series tire with no problem my question is that can I run a 40 series tire with no rubbing or some rubbing at full lock
Also have a 2 inch drop
Never bought spinners and would like some feedback from people who have them.

I personally do not have spinners, and I don't really think I would put them on an xB. I'd probably never buy them actually. My personal opinion on them is that they are dumb. Now if you want to use some floaters, that'd be classy as hell. But I don't know where you can order custom floaters(it'd be insane with the scion logo).

Your offset and rim size it pretty common and I have talked to people running 40 series with 18's without any issues.
Spinners are not really my thing either but I figured someone should actually answer his questions.

42mm offset is fine. I have them on mine. 18 x 7 42mm offset. I'm uping to 19's x 7.5 42mm offset. You need a spacer to bring it out a little in back but this is a good offset on a larger wheel im told. It will clear the wheel well no problem.
