Default installing OTG -3 camber shims

I recently got a set on shims second hand.I was wondering if anybody has installed a set and some confirmation as to which way the L and the R on the shims face. The OTG instructions say to mount them with the mark up and towards the outside of the car, but I have been told to mount them with the mark up and facing in(towards the cabin).I have seen and heard two thing and need a clear cut positive answer.Thankyou!

See my PM. Van had a batch that got stamped wrong, so go by the hand written part. He called me to tell me to be sure to do it that way when I got them from him.

The mark faces up and out. If that's not good enough... look at the profile of the shim. The thinner side should be up top and the angled face should be out.
