Let me ask this then...will running the lowest profile tire possible prevent excessive rubbing?

And if so...what is the lowest that peeps are running here? Why or why not?

I'm getting the fenders rolled anyways, but was wondering if this is an alternative...just never heard it mentioned before...

Is anyone running 195 60's with their sportmax 002's? I want me some sportmax but I already have these tires. The biggest I've seen yet was 195/55 so I'm curious if it is a lost cause trying to get 60's on there. I can roll the fenders but I'd like to avoid rubbing the wheel well.

Same here....I've been rolling on the stock tires (185/60/15) since I've had these rims back in April. I've never rubbed, even with aggressive driving at higher speeds, and I'm dropped at 2.5 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear.

I've had 3 adults deep in the back and haven't rubbed.

All I did was roll the rear fenders....that's it! No camber or anything.

Everyone has had different results with these rims and I can only think of a couple of people who were unhappy with them. For the most part, I think everyone who has these rims loves them.....even if they have to put up with a couple of minor issues.

Just my .02

R U running the stock tires on the 7" or 8" wheel. I know that the 185/60/15 can fit a 7" wheel, but will it fit the 8". The further you stretch out a tire by width the less contact patch(footprint) allowed by that tire. The center tread of the tire can and will bow in towards the rim if stretched too far.

Is it just me that thinks the tire sticking out of the fender looks like crap?
Get the correct offset wheels, or don't get the wheel at all?

At stock height you should be fine, even with passengers I think you'll be alright.
However, if you do decide to lower your car you will have to roll your fenders no matter
what. I'm lowered about 2", have rolled fenders and still rub with larger bumps.

If I were you I would take it to a body shop and have them do it. It should cost less than $100.

Im runnin 205/50/15, and it looks pretty nice. I think most of the 002 owners are running that same size.
