ok just bought new rims the konig minuz's. i picked em cuz they only wiegh 10.8lbs a piece, and i like the five spoke look, i hate anything above 6 or 7. they should be in around tuesday or so and have 195/50/15's on em if i remember right. just wanted to see if anyone had these and how they like em. i stuck with 15's for accel, weight, and cornering purposes btw.

you'll like them, just mounted stock tires on these wheels. look good on black xb. $90 per wheel and got in 3 days from goodwin racing... this is not a plug but great service and reasonable price vs rfp1 at $189, plus they are black. did u get the center caps? got the konig center caps but need a scion emblem in the center ( about 1 15/16 diameter). any thoughts?

no didnt get the center caps, ill prob fab something. but before i put em on im paint my calipers and rear drums black and de-rusting everything so it doesnt look all ghetto tastic like so many others ive seen haha. im still waitin on mine which should be in wendsday hopefully, cuase my current tires are worn down to the metal fiber cuz suspensions outa alignment and has to mucj toe in and scruffin the tire. duno how that happened tho.

 

caliper to wheel is pretty tight, fingernail tight. ended a 300 mile trip and no rubs. 27.64 at 80 mph >1000 miles on her so it hasnt seated yet. they look great when u use a bit of tire black on the rubber. i figure i'll find something completely unrelated for the center cap disks. careful with the gas as i dont think thr rods and pistons are forged.

good choice, you will like the fact that you will not lose any power due to heavy 17-19" (25lb) wheels.

mine should be in marrow!! cocomm whered the gas and forged parts bit come from? did i miss something haha. but if i remember right they are, we have some very advanced engines in our boxes, i only run premium from shell, cuz anything above that isnt gonna do much without a lil modding to the engine. (haha off topic my bad)

sweet they came in. it didnt come with the caps or lugs like it wassupposed to but theyll be in tuesday. the stock lugs seat fine tho. man these actually turned out to b a performance mod. their lught enough that they actually helped with my accel alot how funny.

um like 629 bucks nitrogen filled and kumho ecsta's. omg i got so friggin lucky. i ran over a 4" long allen bolt and it went horizontaly through my treads and just shallow enough to not pop the tire. crazy
