Default New wheels! (Almost, thanks to Discount Tires). Pic included

Hello all.

Finally, after weeks of researching and wheel hunting, I decided to go with the Motegi MR7, 15x6.5, +35mm offset, silver. Rear OTG shims. Stock tires. Got a good deal at Discount Tires!

I'm planning to go wider, so what will be a good tire size w/o compromising too much the odometer read? or any rubbing issues?

The day after the tires were installed, I got closer to check the wheels and noticed that the lugs holes are all scratched up. I called Discount Tires and told them and they asked me to take the car there so they could see it. Then, they offered me two different models of wheels. Konig Reason, 15x6.5 +40mm offset. Or MB Drifter 15x7, +35mm. Non of these were atractive to me, so I told them I will stick to Motegi. I was told they will order them and reinstalled maybe next week.

What a paiin!!!

Here is a picture. Totally changes how the Box looks!

What do you guys think?

Thanks for your comments guys.

Any sugestion on tires? I researched a little, and found out this:

195/60/15 will read speedometer 2% faster. When it reads 60mph actual speed will be 61.2mph. Package is 2 mm (0.1'') closer to suspension/brakes components.

195/55/15 will read speedometer 1.3% slower. When it reads 60mph actual speed will be 59.2mph.

205/55/15 will read speedometer 0.7% faster. When it reads 60mph actual speed will be 60.4mph. Package is 7 mm (0.3'') closer to suspension/brakes components.

I think the best choice to be as close as I can to an accurate read is 205/55/15. But I'm not sure if this will rub my suspension.

Is anyone running this tire size on a 15x6.5" +35mm wheel? Do you guys think it will rub?

I run 205/55-15 on a 15" x 6.5" +38 mm offset wheel. No rubbing or clearance issues whatsoever.

Hey SR20DE_MAN. By any chance could you post a picture of the side and front of your Box so I can take a look?

Thanks in advance!
