Wow! Nice responses, thanks!!

The paint is this paint from this link: LINK

Yeah next paycheck I think I'll be getting progress springs (or megan racing from ebay, anyone heard anything good/bad about them?), and I think I'm going to tint my own windows (paying $100 for something i usually have rolled down doesnt make sense to me heh esp. when i can do it for <20 and i've done it before).

Those brushes woulda been awesome lol i used varnish brushes and those were a PAIN!!

another tip, use BLECHE whitewall/blackwall cleaner before u paint, that stuff cleans amazingly well, and doesn't leave a film/protective coating.

I'm actually going to touch up the paint a tad bit, i might go snag one of those brushes!!

<shameless self-promoting bump, and thanks for the rhyme, it's my sig ;)>

thanks od3x1...

anyone else going to be trying this? i'm glad to be (the first ) permanently whitewalled (maybe all of stateside? i know they did it in japan already) but i'll be glad to be the first of many!

lemme know- the link to the whitewall paint is several places above, and you'll need to be able to have the car off the tires for 2-3 days... pm me if u need some suggestions!

i'm rocking jcwhitney.com hubcaps, and i guess mooneyes aren't so hot (though they look cool!) and i'm sure there's more places too...

night time for me

until tomorrow

it's been said
that to be original is better then to be dead
so please if you will
take this as a compliment
your car is near original
on any continent.

Nice. I had something like those mid-last year form JCWhitney. But one of the covers fell off. So now I have three-baby moons in the basement . And I'm still looking for the other one...haha JK.

You may want to get some valve stem extensions from an auto parts store so you can readily check your tire pressure every month. There has to be a way to securely hold those in without using the drilling method. BTW, metal on metal will scratch on your steelies.
