i don't think too many people run the 60 side wall with the 195

ive got 195/50/16

16x8 +15 ET 1/2" spacer & -3 camber
how close the tire will be to the fender will depend on your offset

 

the brand name is important too. Sportmax recommends Falkin tires and they look sexy as hell on there. i had the 512 and 912 and a BS federal tire when i had my xB the 512 has the sexier stretch but they dont last long and are noisey. the 912 is like a sport touring tire and lasted a lot longer, not too loud. not as big as a stretch as the 512. the Federal Super Steer BS tire i had on there wasn't worth a F and didn't stretch at all.

What about falken 502, seem like the are a bit cheaper than the 512 and 912.

Add me to the group! I just downsized from my old 18" Katana's to 15x8+15 501's in gold.... picking up the 195/50 tire.....I was thinking of Toyo Proxes 4, but idk if u can get lifetime warranty @ 1010 tires.com like u could at discount tire or something like that? anyone know?

 

I finally got my wheels and tires, slapped it on the car and sort of disappointed. I love the wheels, but I kind of regret getting df210. I'm going to invest in some coils now. BTW i have 195/50R15. The gap between the tires and fender grew as expected from 60 to 50 tire wall. I'll post some pictures once i get the chance.

 

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. How much drop do the df210s offer?

I had a good run with tanabe df210, the gap is noticeable since i went from stock tires to smaller wall size. I order some coils, and getting rid of my df210. And the df210 gives 2.0" rear 2.2" front or vice versa i forgot.

 

looks like some tire shine sling. time to change brands.

 

i hate tire shine sling
i spray my tires then scrub them with a brush , then drive the 1 1/2 to the car wash (looks like crap by the time i get there) then i wash it.
the finish result is nice clean tires that have a nice shine, not wet looking, and no more sling.

 

I use the Armor all gel with an applicator but instead of an applicator, i use a terry cloth and put 2-3 light coats and it comes out amazing with no sling.

i miss my xB....

I have 15x8 +15offset with 185/60, tein S.Tech, but wanting to go with df210 springs and 10mm chim in back but worried may rub.
