And still I wonder when people call our work wanting to consolidate $40K in credit card debt...

Finally a statement on this thread I can agree with. It's not that I can't afford to pay cash, or that my credit cards don't work. Their is a logic behind financing something and then paying it off with cash almost immediately or at least before the interest (in some cases) kicks in. There is a reason that I have a credit score over 800. No offense to those with no money or bad credit, I've just found a method that works well for me.
