Default What's your Favorite Scion wheel cover/hubcap?

Now I know most of you heads soup up the Scions w/ chrome, alloy & rims,,,but for those of us not able to spend 1/2 the price of the car on just the wheels, what's your favorite Wheel Cover (hubcaps) from Scion?

Mine's the 4-spoke twist from 2004/05, I feel it stands out from most other styles.
My LEAST fave is the phone-dial style (I have an xB), it's too spherical for the Boxy Scion "look."
Close runner-up is the limited RS 3 type, kinda reminds me of a spider or web.

W/B with your choice...

I chose the 10-spoke, it seemed to complement the look of the car best.

Default ahoy maitee

10-spoke: are those the 1s from '06 that look like a steering wheel from a cruise ship/boat?
(dunno the term)

I like the '06 8-spoke ones, any that cover up as much of the steel wheel as possible is cool w/ me...how do ya'll clean these puppies too/your choice for best "hubcap" cleaner???

My favorite for the PW xB was the original bB/xB 'phone dial' wheelcover.

Still haven't been able to find exactly what I want, but I'm happy with what I have on it now.

Half the price of the car on wheels and tires? Almost everyone is spending around $1k on a wheel and tire combo.... far from a $7.5k set.

Default Scrilla

yeah Panda but a few dozen dollars vs. a few thousand...
Anyway I was just curious as to ppl's fave covers, since Scion offers so many different 1s,,,bump to Topic of forum
Any decent rims are around 600-2000, but trust me I've seen heads blow 4g's all the way up to TEN grand on rims--like ChrisRock said they'll put them "on Toasters" if they could ;)

my vote is no hubcaps, paint the steelies black, red, or green, use trim rings, and a chrome hub.

Loved my flipper moons but they wouldn't stay on.

Now have the bling ring with chrome lugs and center cap. Good look and under $100.00 which is great.

The first reply got it right. The original phone-dial hubcaps with the hidden "bB" logo under the stick-on Scion badge were the best. If you can find a set of those you're straight.

As I said above, I liked the bB/xB phone dials best out of the OEM covers,
https://www.scionlife.com/gallery/?photo=31294

but went to moons while looking for wheels I could live with.

Once I found wheels I could live with I did go to them,
https://www.scionlife.com/gallery/?photo=21672

but in some ways I still prefer the moons...

(We each have our own unique tastes and needs, which is why there are so many 'variations on a theme' in Scionland. :D

Yup. Heart the phone dials; went with the 10-spoke because I thought they were better than the 6- or 8-spoke ones, and couldn't get the phone dials.

Heart the moons look too, but it seems that everyone who's actually had them has had too much trouble with keeping them on the wheels.

My stainless steel moon-like disks had NO problem staying on, and in fact were a bit of a struggle to get off, but there WERE too easy to damage. Out of the eight I started with, I have 4 in good shape, and 4 with dings. (Still need to get rid of those eight wheelcovers...)

Probably not all THAT bad, but they are off the car. Let's face it - they are there for looks and once they get bent up a little, they no longer fulfill their job. Two aren't really all that bad, two, well...

There is some info on where I got mine at http://tijil.org/scionlife/parts.html.

I would like to get rid of mine, but since they are a PITA to ship, and even the good ones are no longer "perfect" I'd prefer to have someone local, who can see them in person, take them off my hands.

Seems a shame to just chuck them in the trash.
