Default Woo-hoo! My moon disks finally arrived.

Evidently, Moon Eyes has to go to the actual moon for their disks, because it took slightly more than 2 months to get them. But the wait is worth it. Beautiful clear coated spun aluminum that's so different from spoked alloys. Been there, done that.

If the xB looks like a cartoon car, the disks highten the effect. Box sitting on circles. :D

I post a picture on my profile after I get the car washed. The tires are muddy right now.

They fit perfectly, nice and snug. The only downside is you have to remove them to check tire pressure.

I've running racing discs on my rig [pix in profile]

Yeah, the air valves being covered is a pain, I've also had a pair of the hubbies "grow legs" and walk away... I've been told they make great clock faces... grrrr

Do these discs sit inside the lip of the steel wheel, or do they cover the lip?

Man, I gotta see this!

For now, I just pulled the caps, and sprayed the steelies with Chrysler-Daimler Cranberry to match the BCP of the car. It looks great but.....

They cover the lip of the wheel exactly.
What's also cool is that they look a lot larger than 15".

I'm toying with the idea of white sidewalls.

Curb feelers and fuzzy dice will round out the package nicely. Can't wait to see pictures of the new moons. Any plans on wheel spacers and longer studs so they fill out the fenders a bit more?

Blue dots in the taillights, hood louvers and red & white tuck 'n' roll upholstery.

OK, that is what I wanted to know. After one of my salt flat discs went AWOL I was considering getting the snap-on discs, but if they are outside the rim lip they can be too easily dinged for my needs, so a new set of salt flat discs and a better mounting method is indicated.

Thanks, George

I was actually thinking of that few monts ago. I just can't figure out how did they incorporate the brakes, park, and signal light in those tear drop lights
