I'm thinking of getting 16x8 +20 XXR 521 and I'm torn between a couple of tire sizes that I read on this forum about choosing 16" tires. Someone people recommending 195/45 16 while others saying 205/50 16. The 195/45 16 is mostly suggested from other when someone makes a thread about 16x8 +0 sized wheels. 205/50 16 is the general sizing that people with rolled fenders are suggesting.

Can I get away with 0 rubbing issues if I had 205/50 16 tires on the XXR 521 16x8 +20 riding on Tein S-Tech with no fenders rolled or camber kits?

Not sure. I have 15x8 +15 and am running 195/50 and rubbed like hell still till I rolled and cut my fenders. I am dropped about 7" though

Have you thought about going with a 195/50 with your 16's I think that would look pretty good.

 

I was thinking the same thing. I want to get the same wheels in flat black with 205/40/16 to have a little stretched look. I'm thinking camber bolts in the front with -3 or -5 plates in the back. I'm also getting bc sport coilovers though.

I'm gonna go with 205 for now. When I get the coilovers and camber plates imma get 195 tires just to have a lil stretch and get spacers and a fender roll.
