Just so you guys know Im pretty sure Randode was the first to do this. He actually found an emblem that fit in the grill perfectly. But that was almost three years ago when xbs were only in california and a good scion meet was like 20 cars, and there wasnt a huge aftermarket for xbs yet.

While I definately like the look... you could do much more with the car and turn it into a full conversion.... DO IT.. do the back likes molded in, and mold the front end/grill in... it'd look hot..

or spend less money and just buy a lexus

A for effort!

I disagree with this. It's not like that at all. The bB and xB are "essentially" the same vehicle. No, they are not exact, but they are certainly counterparts from different areas of the globe. The xB has no such counterpart in the Lexus line... anywhere.

So putting a bB badge on an xB almost makes sense since that's really where it's roots are and there actually is a vehicle called the bB that is the basis for the xB. Like I said, there's no such vehicle even CLOSE in the Lexus line, so it doesn't exist, never has existed, and likely never will exist. You made it up.

That being said, the emblem doesn't look bad, but I don't care for the "lexus" and "box" parts. I'd take those off and keep it clean.

I like it. I would never do that to mine as I am going to stay Scion. Where I live people would really think it is a Lexus because there arent to many of us around. I think I am 1 of 2 of us here in my town.

People have been Lexus emblems on their non lexus Toyotas in japan for quite awhile. There is a pic of one around here somewhere. Someone here even said that was a good looking Lexus even though it was a Toyota Voxy. So whatever. I was gonna do it too.

Such response and passion of such a little mod, I like it! Its been done to death? this is the first time I have ever seen it. Probably will be for most. If Lexus people get offended , to bad, they themselves are buying a rebadged Toyota, GS300=avalon ES=camry. and I agree with whom ever said go all the way with it , all leather wood burlwood inside I think that would be sick! Make your own lexus. All the haters are daft

Lexus..ford...daihatsu...yugo...it's not that big of a deal.
There's another thread where a guy put a Big old toyota emlblem in place of his scion ones...but people think that's cool. No difference really.

People will argue that it's okay to put Toyota and not Lexus, because it's a Toyota car, and blah blah blah....Toyota doesn't think so. It was a big enough deal to them to create a different brand for this car in the US.
Peeps get upset about the Lexus thing, because they buy into the marketing gimmick. People feel like they have some kind of status-or something to show- if they drive a Lexus, but not if they drive a Toyota. A "lexus" is just an expensive Toyota, and a "Scion" is just a gimmick to create this urban youth hiphop bullcrap image that nobody follows.
Scion..Toyota...Lexus. They're all the same company, so who cares?! Put your Lexus emblems. It looks cool.

Just please tell me that noone has put Honda emblems on their car....that would disturb me.
Actually, I don't think it's so bad at all. It's no different than some idiot here putting bB emblems on the car, 'cause it's not quite the same car. When you get one that has the steering wheel on the right hand side, get a 1.3 liter allwheel drive, and can get 100 octane gas to put in it...then it's a bB. (I am one of the idiots who has the bB emblems). It's the same idea, folks...and there's nothing wrong with it.
^^This was sarcasm, by the way. It's all Toyota. Everything else is just for marketing.

"Oh, Blaine. Look at the silly poor person pretending that he has a Lexus. How ridiculous these little people are! "
"Oh my, Miffy! Where do these strange poor people come up with their trashy ways? ..hmph!"
Suck it.

It is different though.

Don't get me wrong, if he likes it, he should run with it.

But your point doesn't hold, IMO. If you put a Toyota badge on an xB or xA, it's considered more acceptable b/c there are actually Toyota versions of those vehicles (in Japan obviously). There is no Lexus version of the xB... anywhere. So there is a bit of a difference.

thank you for all the people that like it..
and for the poeple hating, oh well...i like it..thats all that matters
Wait up a sec how is it different with bB emblems on a xB? Its practically the same car on the inside and the outside. So its not really the same. Its JDM. The Japanese but Scion emblems on the bB so what's the difference?

actually car makers take note of what people do to there cars and many times things go into development because of it, I think that would be cool to have a lexus box. all leathered up captain seats all around, would satisify the luxo people and get good gas milage, it could work.

There is no Lexus version of a Lexus in Japan....A Lexus is called a Toyota.
Lexus is just a name to make people feel good, so who cares.

That's fine if it's still called a Toyota in Japan... but there is no "lexus" box made anywhere. And I think it would be useless to say that the bB could be a Lexus since they don't have that nameplate over there.
