In my last post, I was reinstalling the front grille and fog light covers on my xB after someone backed into me . Well, one of the fog light covers went missing , so I decided to just put fog lights in where they belonged. I bought a pair off of Amazon from "Winjet" with a switch, and added a relay switch also. About $70 total. I am including two links which really helped me to do this by myself. The video from You Tube is lengthy, and not so detailed, but when he talks about modifying the fog lights from this same company, it came in REAL handy. The two plastic mounting plugs are switched around and the larger plug-in should be on the top. Luckily, they easily pull off and are exchangeable.


But, when it comes to getting the relay block out of the junction block, this 2nd link to a PDF explains that much better and actually has good detailed information in it. But, of course, I still had to get down on the floor and reach my right hand to the back of the relay block and put my left hand through the hole where the instrument panel box was, just to hold the relay block firm enough to push the new relay into it. By the way, the relay block received the new relay with the horizontal plugs on top - good to know if you can't really see where or how it plugs into it. Hope this helps anyone else!
