Default air horns....2...train horns, pics and video!!!

I got rid of the stock horns on the xB, and bought a set of big horns at autozone, much louder, and got most peoples attention, but like the set i bought for my cavalier years ago, they died, the air compressor bit the dust. sigh, HOWEVER!!!!!!

yesterday they came in the mail, a set of train horns. I installed them. took rougly 4-5 hours to run the wires, air hoses and find a spot for theis huge ars horn set!! they work like a charm, scared the crap out of freind goin to my car with me. The air tank has a compressor cut out switch at 135PSI, but curently, the cutoff switch is broke...kinda peeves me off, so i got ot monitor the tank pressure. enjoys a few pics

#1 You can kinda see it through the wheel spokes...
#2 air comp. in the rear, yes, the cover fits over it, but i got to monitor the pressure.
#3 Here they are!!!

they are kinda smaller than a normal set. but the only place i could find to mount them on the xB was under the rear, they hang lower than my muffler, so i got to drive slow over speed bumper of larger bumps in the road, plus my box is dropped, so i got about 2 inch ground clearance.

That's awesome. The wires wrapped around the horns looks like something ghetto that I would do haha

so are you using a tank as well? where did you put that?
I plan on getting the same horns, I am going to take the windshield washer fluid tank out and mount them behind the front bumper.

Im using a 3.1 liter tank. Its mounted right next to the compressor, if you look in the pic, you can see the brackets sticking out on the left. I thought about removing my tank resivoir, but up here, i need it, and on the other side is my intake, and the set up is WAY to big to fit there. If the tank is washer tank is removed, it may fit. If you want more pics of the set up, ill do what i can!!

As of the song, by justin timberlake???? (spelling) no idea.

the compressor came with the horns and tank, was a complete set. all i needed to buy was crimp connectors and some wire to run from the horn relay in the front and larger gauge wire to power the compressor. The company i bought this setup from is sending me a new pressure cut off switch since the once it came with wont work.
