I have a Fujita short ram in my 06 xB and today i just put 2 and 2 together that the filter for the intake sits right behind where the fog ight hole is. So i popped that piece out of the bumper and it seems to help get colder air flowing right onto the intake... my question is Does anyone know if there are vents made that fit into that factory fog light slot? it looks kinda rigged with the piece just popped out but leaving it out is essential now... i have an extra set of lower grills and was thinking of fashioning a piece to fit in there but if there are pre made ones i would rather just buy one that is a perfect fit

 

I've actually seen people make it out of a metal mesh material...looks damn cool, too. I think there was a DIY on it someonwhere around here. ill search around for ya. I have the same intake, btw. isn't it awesome?

 

yeah i love the fujita it sounds soo good too mine makes a lil pshh noise when im shifting and when you turn the key off it gives such a nice exhale sound

 

I milled a slot out here at work and put in a piece of fine mesh screen then painted it white. heres a pic.

I actually had some gangsat kids come up to me and ask me to pop my hood cause they thought i was boosting LOL. I was like "Nah...But I gotta go" then I left...Still think i'm boosting lol.

Dude thats hot. if you sold those, i'd totally buy them. How'd you get it in the black plastic? Really nice, man.

 

That black plastic insert (pic 1), is actually a section of
speaker grill from the rear sub of an Acura MDX, the black
rubber trim around the insert is the edge of a wiper blade (I
seperated the blade portion with a razor blade). It's all held
together with GM 3 bond epoxy. All items were "found", the
mod was free. The second version, same cover, uses mesh
(cut out from the side of a mesh waste basket), assembly
painted flat black/bumper black. I also painted the grill, the
other cover, and changed the headlights..

Here is a pic of the ones that ProshopXB gave me over a year ago when I bought his short ram intake.
He used actual lower grill material to fill the holes. It feeds nice cold air right to the filter.
