Default Another Easy Way To Clear Your Corners

Well I cleared my corners a couple of weeks ago. Frist off you do not need to unscrew all the bolts that are mentioned in the original post. Just the two that are on the front underside of you fenders, the little palstic "rivets"(?) that hold the grill in, and then the headlight bolts.
WHen I got the headlights out I just did not have the ***** to smash my light with a hammer and a screwdriver....so I took a handheld weed puller, you know the one with the two metal forks on the end. I heated the weed puller on my stove (open flame) until the forks were orange (about 5 minutes). I then inserted it into the headlight and into the amber plastic. It goes through like butter. Did both headlights at the same time, then run the puller under cold water. Reinserted the fork into the headlight through the holes that I burnt into the amber plastic. Lifted up and out. The lens comes out in almost one peice. Then take small long needle nose plires and pick up the amber lens and turn it into the clear part of the headlight, until all the peices are small enough to fall out. It takes half the time and you do not scratch the silver part of your headlights. Hope this helps those who want to clear there corners but have been afriad to smash a hammer and screwdriver into them.

I dunno but I think it took more ***** going into your headlight with a hot iron poker. I would be afraid my hand would shake and I would have a melted headlight. Or I could see a bug flying in my nose and there goes my headlight

I guess what matters is you got the job done and nothing was harmed so props for that.

o come on Fuji be daring... no need for an extra set

the hardest part is getting the last amber piece outta there if u dont get it all cracked on the first try. it took me 4 hours to do this mod

half hour getting bumper off
half hour getting headlights outta there
half hour of watching tv and getting the stuff i needed
half hour to break and clean out the one light
hour and a half trying to get amber out of the stubborn one and cleaning headlight
half hour putting everything back on the car and bolting back up
= 4 hours

id be too afraid to use a hot poker. id be afraid id melt the amber reflector, and itd drip inside the light, and solidify there.
