Default Anyone have these projectors - quality?? brightness ??

I am thinking of these. I was told they use the 9005 9006 bulbs and are very bright.

if they fog. i may have my boyfriend reseal them

what do you think of these

yes they use 9005 and 9006 bulbs.
they use the same trunsignal bulbs.

that much is plug and play.

the halo's and led's need to be hardwired.
some people have had fogging issues.

the light output of these sucks (IMO).
the stock headlights put out more light. some have suggested putting better bulbs in to get more light out.

also the halos are not that durable. be prepared to have one or two go out....

you can also try searching as many people here have them, and made comments about them.

^^ what he said in a nutshell...
but if you seal them yourself and add HIDs or some other aftermarket bulbs...(good kind)... you would be ok....

I wouldn't recommend these projectors. I have these projectors in black and they are poorly made. Unless you use a HID kit, the lighting from these projectors are horrible. Sure they look cool, but they fog up and the sides scrap against the fenders causing paint chips.

You should check out these instead:
New projectors

These seem to be better made and have gotten better reviews from other owners.

Um, I think those are no longer DOT legal due to the reflector requirement.

For those of us who rid their car of the yellow reflectors for the 'cleaner' look - am I passing inspection in NY this year?

I will put these on the caca list....and wait for better.

I think if these manufacutures would go with better quality, people would be willing to pay more.

You'll like'm. Pricey, but nice looking. You will have to tweak the mounting brackets to get things lined up right.

Ironically, these fog ever so slightly The lenses have blue tint to them, it's not just the bulbs.

Yeah, they look cool but that is about it. I have these and would agree completely and they fog up really bad.

I like these, but long-term reliability is unknown. They seem really well-made.
